Don't expect any leniency on your deposit here. They'll find reasons to charge you for everything from carpet cleaning to painting, even if it's just normal wear and tear. Just be aware that you're likely to face additional fees at the end of your lease.
The management practices felt predatory. They seemed to look for any excuse to keep the deposit and add extra fees. It's a disappointing way to end a tenancy and doesn't inspire trust or goodwill. Just a heads up for anyone thinking of renting here.
The apartments themselves are decent, but the hefty rent increase was unexpected and not justified by the location or amenities. It's also quite clear that they're more interested in profits than the well-being of their tenants, given the sharp rental hike and deposit issues.
The move-out process was a clear indication of the management's focus on profit over fairness. Charging for unnecessary services and keeping the deposit without justification is simply unfair. It's a cold and calculated move that shows little regard for the tenant's circumstances.
The apartment was fairly modern and the maintenance staff kept it clean, but the security concerns and location made it a dealbreaker. The area is rife with crime, and I didn't feel safe. The management's lackadaisical approach to security only added to the sense of unease.
Dealing with the management was a nightmare, especially during move-out. They were unprofessional and seemed to have a lack of understanding about 'wear and tear'. Their communication was poor, and they appeared to be more focused on squeezing out every penny than providing good service.
I lived here for two years and it was decent for the most part. The community vibe was pretty good, and the maintenance staff, Rick and Mo, were always on point with keeping the place tidy including the gym. It felt like a community during my first year, but things changed with the management turnover in my second year.
Early interactions with Stephanie were great, but when management changed, so did the vibe. They handled a few situations poorly, such as lease renewals and tenant complaints. It felt like we lost that personal touch. Also, the move-out charges were excessive; they basically took our deposit for inevitable cleaning costs.
The apartment complex has been a pleasant surprise so far, especially with how the management team has conducted themselves. The attention to detail and customer service by Gina and Stephanie were impressive. They made the leasing process smooth and cared about the tenant's experience from the get-go.
Gina and Stephanie from the management staff have been exceptional. They were communicative, friendly, and went the extra mile to ensure I knew about all the promotions and concessions available. Their excellent customer service has made me feel very optimistic about my upcoming move.
The building seems to have its ups and downs, but the management leaves much to be desired. They seem to lack consistency in how they handle things, which can be frustrating. The community has potential, but it's overshadowed by the management issues.
JADA, the property manager, was particularly unpleasant to deal with. Her unprofessionalism has reached a point where I've had to report her behavior to higher management. It's unacceptable and has left a negative impact on my overall experience with the property.
I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, especially considering the price. It's not just the power outages and security issues like break-ins, but even the bike storage isn't safe. The neighborhood feels dangerous, and I don't feel comfortable walking around, no matter the time of day. The only redeeming feature is the hardworking maintenance crew, but that's hardly enough to make up for the rest.
Management's response to issues is disappointing. When my bike was stolen from the so-called secure room, all they said was to file a police report. They don't seem to care about resident safety or communicate during incidents. It's like they don't understand the basics of property management or tenant communication.
