The Grand has some nice perks, like spacious apartments and amenities, but the downsides are too significant to ignore. The lack of security is concerning, and the frequent package theft is frustrating. Elevator breakdowns are common, and the noise from outside can be unbearable. It's a shame because the concierge staff is excellent, but the building's issues overshadow their hard work.
On-site management seems to be non-existent, which makes dealing with any problems a lengthy process. It's baffling that they're not taking more steps to retain current tenants, considering the incentives they offer to new ones. Communication with management is hit or miss, and when you do get someone, it's always someone different.
After being a resident for several years, I'm sad to say that the Grand just isn't what it used to be. The decline in quality is evident, with elevators constantly breaking down and the lack of on-site management is definitely felt. The communal spaces are not maintained as they should be, and the absence of security is worrying. The worst part is the silence from management; it's like they don't care at all.
The management here really needs to step up their game. Not being on-site is a huge disadvantage, and their attempt to cut costs by going remote full-time just isn't working. They hardly communicate with us tenants unless it's about parking or fire alarm checks. It's really disappointing to see how things have gone downhill.
I absolutely loved living at The Grand from 2019 to 2021. The staff were amazing, and the cleanliness of the lobby was always top-notch. The units themselves felt very homey and were a great size – it made for a very comfortable living experience.
The management and maintenance staff were attentive and prompt in their service during my stay. I never had any major issues, and on the rare occasion something needed attention, they were quick to resolve it. It really contributed to the overall positive experience of living there.
I've lived here over two years, and the absence of management in the building is causing the quality of life to deteriorate. Maintenance takes forever to fix anything, and the elevators are always breaking down. The lobby and floors often have an unpleasant odor. However, I must say the concierge team has been friendly and professional despite these issues.
It's clear that the management team's decision to go remote has negatively impacted the residents' experience. It takes ages to get a response to any issues, and when they do invest in the property, it's on unnecessary things like lobby furniture instead of addressing the real problems. Their disconnected service is really disappointing.
My partner and I just moved in, but we're already impressed with The Grand. The apartment features like size and location are great, and the neighborhood is fantastic. The maintenance staff deserves a special mention for being so quick and efficient with our requests.
The management and maintenance teams have been wonderful. They're attentive to detail and quick to respond, which is a refreshing change from other places we've seen. Efrain in particular has been incredibly helpful, making sure all our maintenance needs are met promptly.
I've been living here for over a year and a half and initially, everything was great. The building was well-maintained, and the community felt welcoming. However, since the management moved off-site, there's been a visible decline in the upkeep and communication, which is quite disappointing.
The management's decision to move off-site has had a significant negative impact on our living experience. It's been challenging to get a hold of anyone for urgent non-maintenance issues, and when you do, the response is often rude and dismissive. The 'smart locks' installation seems more beneficial for the management than the residents.
Although the apartment units have great size and the location is convenient, the building's management leaves much to be desired. The gyms and saunas are outdated and don't seem to be cleaned often. It's frustrating to deal with the constant noise from trash collection and the maintenance issues like broken elevators. The lack of security is also a major concern.
Dealing with Vanessa and Erin from management has been a nightmare. They are not on-site and are incredibly difficult to reach. When you do manage to get in touch with them, they are unhelpful and dishonest. I've had a terrible experience with the management, to the point where I've had to reach out to the executives with no response.
