The atmosphere at Hanover Northgate is just what I was looking for. It's a quiet sanctuary amidst the city bustle. While Oakland itself can get a bit noisy, the building provides a nice escape. The amenities are a major plus - always clean and well-maintained, making my living experience here quite enjoyable.

Keith from maintenance has been a lifesaver. He's not only great at what he does but also incredibly courteous. It's reassuring to know that if there's a problem, it'll be handled efficiently. Mirna and the rest of the staff have been welcoming and helpful throughout my stay, making me feel well taken care of.

Walking distance to everything I need is a huge perk. The only downside is the occasional leak in the parking garage, but it's a minor issue considering all the positives.

The maintenance team's responsiveness to work orders has been impressive, always adhering to my requests and respecting my home.

The additional costs for parking and utilities also add up, detracting from the value proposition.

While initially impressed by the professionalism of some staff members like Khadijah, the continued problems and some unprofessional behavior from other staff have made my stay less enjoyable. It feels like there's more emphasis on new leases than resident satisfaction.

I love the spacious apartments and pet-friendly policy here, but I do wish there were better solutions for pet waste management. It would significantly improve the living experience. Additionally, while the amenities are nice, they could be better for the price, especially the gym which needs some updates.

Unfortunately, my interactions with some of the staff here have been less than stellar. There appears to be a focus on attracting new tenants rather than addressing the concerns of current ones. It was especially disheartening to deal with Kadijah who seemed unprofessional at times. This definitely put a damper on my overall experience.

While Hanover Northgate has great aesthetics and is situated in a lovely part of Oakland, the maintenance of the building has been lacking. The slow response to essential repairs is frustrating, especially considering the high rent. More transparency and quicker resolutions would make this a much better place to live.

Despite the beautiful property and Khadijah's professionalism during the leasing process, the lack of upkeep and the way issues are handled post-move-in leave much to be desired. It's disappointing that after such a smooth application phase, the ongoing management doesn't meet the same standard.
