I recently moved into this apartment complex and it's been a mixed experience. On the positive side, the location is amazing. It's perfect for university students or staff working on the west side of campus and provides great access to the Bart station and local amenities. However, there are significant drawbacks. The design of the apartments leaves a lot to be desired, with inadequate and sometimes misleading storage spaces. The mandatory trash collection policy is not only costly but also inconvenient, and the fact that the trash often goes uncollected is frustrating.

Dealing with Aaliyah during the apartment hunting process was a breath of fresh air. She was responsive, kind, and extremely patient, answering every question I had and making the whole experience much less stressful. However, after moving in, the management team's response to issues has been disappointing. From ignored requests for maintenance to refusing to provide security footage after package thefts, it feels like there's a lack of accountability. Additionally, promises made before signing the lease, like the inclusion of fans in the apartments, have not been kept.

The apartments are in a convenient location for Berkeley students, close to eateries and essential services. The facilities are well-maintained, and the apartments presented during the tours were clean and inviting. However, current tenants have reported some serious concerns. Security issues with broken garage doors left unrepaired and thefts from the mailroom suggest that the security measures in place are either insufficient or not used effectively. This, along with the design flaws and trash collection problems, seems to undermine the potential of what could be an excellent place to live.

Aaliyah is a standout when it comes to assisting potential tenants. Her knowledge and customer service skills are commendable, making her an asset to any apartment seeker. She's been praised for her prompt communication and for being incredibly helpful during the apartment search. Unfortunately, this level of service does not seem to extend beyond the initial interaction. Once residents have moved in, issues like unfulfilled maintenance promises and inadequate responses to security concerns have tarnished the reputation of the management.
