Berkeley Central seemed great at first, given its safety and proximity to downtown. However, the reality was far from perfect. Repairs took forever, and the staff communication was virtually non-existent. Not to mention the exorbitant rent for what they claim is a one-bedroom but lacks proper walls and doors.

Dealing with the landlord has been a nightmare. Waiting over a month for an oven repair is unacceptable, especially when paying nearly $3k in rent. The lack of communication and the constant staff changes have made the experience incredibly stressful and unsatisfactory.

The apartment is in an excellent location and provides a safe, quiet environment. It's close to many amenities, making it a convenient choice for residents. Although, it's on the pricey side, which is a bit of a downside.

The flooring turned out to be damaged, and the management's attempt to fix it was shoddy at best. They switched out the elegant hardwood for a cheap, uncomfortable plastic material without consent.

Even worse, they gave the repair crew access to my apartment without proper notice, compromising my privacy and safety. Their refusal to acknowledge or rectify their mistakes was the last straw.
